I LOVE the Connecticut Sun…and you should too!

I went to my first Connecticut Sun game only recently, but I am now an official super fan. And just in time for the 2021 WNBA Playoffs.

My experience was so inspiring and fun. The atmosphere was so welcoming and supportive. The players were so determined, so full of heart, and SO GOOD!

I also learned how the Sun stand for much more than basketball. They live their values on and off the court to make an impact in our community. They have an incredible mission, “Change Can’t Wait”, to create positive change throughout Connecticut by fighting for social justice and supporting all marginalized voices.

The 2021 WNBA Playoffs began this week and the #1 ranked Connecticut Sun need our support to help bring the WNBA Championship home to Connecticut. Let’s show the team how much we appreciate all of their hard work.

In short, the Connecticut Sun really show up for us and now it is our turn to show up for them.

We here at Nutmeg State FCU are making a $5,000 contribution to the Connecticut Sun Foundation to support the team’s work in our community. We have also secured special ticket discounts for Nutmeg State FCU members and our staff to attend the playoff games.

I know I will be at the games cheering on the team. I hope to you see there too!
