Meet the Branch Management Team

Sheryl Dick

Senior Vice President, Retail

Sheryl brings 18 years of experience in financial services, including 15 years dedicated to credit unions. As Senior Vice President of Retail, she leads Nutmeg's retail delivery channels, overseeing both in branch and contact center experiences. With a passion for process improvement and technology, Sheryl focuses on creating innovative solutions that enhance the member and employee experience. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of positions within the credit union, which makes her a well-rounded and collaborative leader. She is committed to keeping members and employees at the center of every decision, ensuring a seamless, omni-channel experience through branch of the future design, advanced contact center technology, and the development of trusted advisors. Sheryl holds a degree in Marketing from Missouri Southern State University and is a certified UX designer. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, playing golf, exploring local cuisine with her husband, and spending time with her great dane, Matilda.

Luis Mejia

Regional Manager, Branch Operations & Member Experience

Luis is the Regional Manager, Branch Operations & Member Experience. He comes to Nutmeg State with over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. Luis joined Nutmeg State in December of 2017 and has held many positions ranging from Member Service Specialist to DMV Express Market Manager. Most recently, as Regional Manager, Luis is responsible for the oversight of all retail branches spread across Connecticut. He takes great pride in his ability to coach staff to deliver memorable experiences to our members.

Lisa Cooke

Manager, Contact Center & Experience

Lisa is the Member Experience Manager for our Contact Center, having joined the Credit Union more than 10 years ago. She has over 25 years’ experience in the financial and customer service fields. Lisa enjoys working with members to deliver excellent service. She is always looking for new and innovative endeavors our Call Center can pursue. Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, especially her 3 grandchildren.

Laura Cely

Manager, Member Service

Laura is the Member Service Manager at our Glastonbury & Rocky Hill location. Laura joined Nutmeg State in 2022 as a Member Service Specialist in our New Britain Branch. Laura takes pride in ensuring we are upholding our core values at every member interaction. Laura holds a bachelor's degree in management and international business. In Laura's spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. 

Nicolas Jean-Pierre

Manager, Member Services

Nicolas Jean-Pierre serves as the Member Service Manager at our newly acquired Bristol branches, where he is dedicated to providing outstanding financial services while nurturing strong, lasting relationships with our members. With a sharp focus on leadership, operational efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to member satisfaction, Nick strives to ensure that the team consistently delivers tailored solutions that empower both individuals and businesses to achieve their financial aspirations. Passionate about community-driven banking, he prioritizes innovation, operational excellence, and a member-first philosophy in all aspects of his work.

Tiana McKelvy

Manager, Member Services

Tiana is the Member Service Manager at our Stratford and Orange locations. She joined Nutmeg State in 2023 as a DMV Express Service Representative at our Norwalk Branch. Driven by a passion for financial empowerment and team development, Tiana is dedicated to promoting growth, efficiency, and exceptional service within her branch and the community. With a strong background in business administration and leadership, Tiana leads with integrity and takes pride in fostering a positive and productive environment. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership, equipping her with the expertise to drive operational excellence and customer-focused solutions. Currently, she is advancing her knowledge by pursuing a Doctorate in Human Services Leadership and Organizational Management.
