Nutmeg’s Exciting Expansion to the Norwalk Area with DMV Express

With the recent enhancements to our West Hartford and Glastonbury locations, 2020 has been one of Nutmeg’s most productive and innovative years yet. However, I’m excited to say that we’re not done yet! Coming soon, the credit union’s footprint will be expanding further into Fairfield County with a new shared DMV Express location in Norwalk. I encourage you all to read below for more important details.

As you know, membership at Nutmeg is available in Hartford County, Middlesex County, Tolland County, New Haven County, and select towns in Fairfield County. To prepare for our upcoming presence in Norwalk, we officially expanded our field of membership earlier this year to include the towns of Trumbull, Fairfield, Norwalk and Westport. This means that if you meet our membership guidelines for these towns, you can join the credit union and take advantage of all the services we have to offer! Learn more about becoming a member or view our full portfolio of services today.

When the new Norwalk location opens, it will be our fourth shared retail space with the state Department of Motor Vehicles. Like our locations in Milford, North Haven, and now Glastonbury, you will be able to do all of your banking with Nutmeg and enjoy the convenience of DMV Express services at the same place. This partnership has helped the credit union see significant growth in recent years (about 40 percent of new members come from DMV Express locations) and I am excited to see it continue with future locations like this. And as always, the Norwalk location will also be equipped with state-of-the-art Nutmeg technology to make your experience as convenient as possible.
